Site #58: Clachaig Inn Area, Glencoe:<\/strong> Three principle photography Prisoner of Azkaban<\/em> sets were built near this Inn\u2014including Hagrid\u2019s Hut<\/strong>. Familiar background plates for subsequent Potter movies were also shot here.<\/p>\n

Site #59: Fort William and the Jacobite Steam Train:<\/strong> Between May and October, Potterites can personally experience a portion of Harry\u2019s journey to Hogwarts by boarding a train that is a sister<\/em> to the Hogwarts Express<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Site #60: Glen Etive and Loch Etive:<\/strong> A background plate film site for earlier movies, Deathly Hallows Part One<\/em> lakeside camp scenes, and the deleted<\/em> stone-skipping lesson<\/strong>, were shot here.<\/p>\n

Site #61: Glenfinnan Viaduct and Loch Shiel:<\/strong> This place is a familiar Hogwarts\u2019 Lake<\/strong> background plate film site, and home of the iconic bridge crossed by the Hogwarts Express.<\/p>\n

Site #62: Loch Arkaig:<\/strong> Background plates were filmed here for a bit of footage seen in a DHp1<\/em> aerial shot of Hogwarts Lake.<\/p>\n

Site #63: Loch Eilt:<\/strong> The tree-tufted islet at the western end of Loch Eilt is readily recognized by all Potterites!<\/p>\n

Site #64: Rannoch Station:<\/strong> This station is the gateway to a remote Rannoch Moor<\/strong> location where a few seconds of DHp1<\/em> footage were filmed.<\/p>\n

Site #65: Spean Bridge Railway Station:<\/strong> This is the stand-in<\/em> for Hogsmeade Station<\/strong> seen in a few very brief and dark-lit Half-Blood Prince<\/em> scenes of students disembarking the Hogwarts Express.<\/p>\n

Site #66: Steall Falls, Glen Nevis:<\/strong> Seen in every<\/em> movie featuring the Quidditch Stadium<\/strong>, this background plate film site is Potterly-familiar and extraordinarily fun to visit.<\/p>\n
